Evening,

I am trying to accomplish a pretty simple thing. When I press a button on macrodeck like "BRB" it will switch to the be right back scene in obs and when I click it again, it will switch back to whatever it was before I switched scenes. In order to do so I save the value of the current obs scene in a variable and switch scene on the first press. The only way I see being able to switch back though is a huge comparison of the variable with all obs scenes to find out which was saved in the variable and then switch to that scene. That seems like quite a bit of work, especially since it has to be added to/changed every time I work on my obs scenes (which, for me at least, happens every time I want to stream a new game).

The same functionality could also be useful for other things to switch back and forth like stream on/off, profiles if ppl have more than one or two or even saving audio state between transitions. Turning the mic off automatically when switching to a scene like "BRB", save the current state before that and restore the state. Not as hard to do with audio states since there is only on/off per audio source but it could still be easier if you could just dump it in a variable for temporary storage.
