Possible workaround:

sudo modprobe -r brcmfmac
sudo modprobe brcmfmac feature_disable=0x82000

To make the above permanent, load the module with this option at /etc/modprobe.d/brcmfmac.conf by adding:

options brcmfmac feature_disable=0x82000
