C language is a middle level language because it has advantages of both high level and low level language.
C language is called "Mother Language" because we can create all types of softwares from it.
History of C:
In 1960's C was created at ATST Bell laboraties,USA. In 1969, Ken Thomson  created Unix, first multiuser Operating System. In 1972-1973 ,Dennis Ritchie created C language.
He created C language in purpose of rewriting Unix.
C IS CASE SENSITIVE LANGUAGE that means most code is in lowercase and only variables can use uppercase alphabets.
