Hi. Not sure if this is a feature you want to implement or not. But i was thinking of a feature similar to 'aapt dump badging'. basically the user can run a command and it will print out info about the app including the app name, package name, version, etc. maybe also something to extract the icon. idk. just an idea.
this is not necessarily 'editing' so I dont know whether you are interested or not.
