How to get data when I subscribed to notifies?

Email notifications don't always work right away on joindiaspora.com. Sometimes, they don't work at all. It is the most stressed Diaspora server.

I'm guessing he was talking about postgresql's listen/notify, not diaspora's notify :P

Sorry, got my open source projects crossed up. :) All the github notifications are beginning to blur together these days... :)
