It is only updating Sources not inside a Group.

Line 6 - 14 is for the function that use to get sources inside a group

This is a known limitation, as noted in the readme:

The tool does not work with groups. Using groups is not recommended in general, use nested scenes instead

The OBS websocket changed how sources in scenes/groups can be queried, so it's no longer easily doable in one go. They also discourage usage and recommend nested scenes here :

Using groups at all in OBS is discouraged, as they are very broken under the hood. Please use nested scenes instead.
