Currently, the multiplication sign can be displayed as an x or a dot. I find the x to be confusing, because it is commonly used as a variable in formulas, and the dot hard to see. Would it be possible to add an asterisk * as an optional representation of the multiplication operation?

Thanks! That works. To keep options simple, but more flexible, can change "Use dot as multiplication sign" option to a dropdown with several common options, or even a text input field.
