Versions

Windows Server Version: Server 2012 R2
Exchange Version: 15.0.1497.23
Installed DKIM Exchange Version: 3.3.2

Description

Having an issue when we try to install the application on our Exchange Server it throws "Error fetching Version" It is like the application cannot use the internet connection on the Exchange nodes. Have confirmed there is no issue with internet connectivity or Firewall rules on these Exchange nodes.

We are able to ignore the message and proceed with the install however then the changelog is unable to get the current version.

Steps to Reproduce - Install

  1. Go to "dkim-exchange-3.3.2" install folder
  2. Launch "Configuration.DkimSigner.exe"
  3. Throws "Error fetching Version"

Steps to Reproduce - Changelog

  1. Launch Exchange DKIM Signer Application
  2. Go to the information Tab check Changelog to see an error message about "Couldn't get current version"

Expected behavior: [What you expected to happen]

Install

  1. Go to "dkim-exchange-3.3.2" install folder
  2. Launch "Configuration.DkimSigner.exe"
  3. Proceeds with the normal install process

Changelog

  1. Launch Exchange DKIM Signer Application
  2. Go to the information Tab check Changelog for the latest changes for the Exchange DKIM Signer Application

v3.3.4 is in pre-release - please try updating to this version and see if the issue is resolved although this does sound like a local issue.
