it misses many things and must be improved, particularly for non coding people.

I think we could remove it and just link to the devdocs. There should not be duplicated content between Build and Devdocs. It will never be maintained well.

The other day I saw a document looking for a maintainer for the official module repository.

The document talked about ways to contribute, I think I remember that it did not include helping with translations.

And tell we where you would add translation, or, if you feel it needs a dedicated category. Then, it will be possible to improve the doc.
