[SOLVED] sshd_config doesn't change settings after restarting service

Hi guys,

I'm struggling with the config of my OpenSSH server on my windows server 2022 core.
The path that OpenSSH is installed is this one:

`PS C:\Program Files\OpenSSH>``

There was a sshd_config_default.
I opened it an changed everything to my needs and saved it as sshd_config. No fileextension at the end etc.

Best example that this file is not used by the service itself is that I tested to change to port to anything else than 22. Here an example with 13000.

Match Group administrators

is ending with this (yes no firewall rule is blocking this access.

At least I guess the sshd_config must be placed anywhere else?

ok... nvmd, I think I found it... should be placed in C:\ProgramData\ssh\sshd_config
