How to install dsc.exe on Windows Server 2022 through script?

I tried to install dsc.exe through winget:

winget install DesiredStateConfiguration

But I get the following error:

An unexpected error occurred while executing the command:
0x803fb104 : The package is not compatible with the current Windows version or platform.

I think it is more related to WinGet. See: microsoft/winget-cli#3982. Perhaps you can try a different application type. I'm not behind my computer, but there should be a switch on the CLI were you can specify a different type e.g. zip.

winget search DesiredStateConfiguration
winget install --id <insert-package-id> --source msstore
