Hi,
I'm using physical albums which I upload using ssh. The webserver doesn't have write access to the galleries folder so it can't create the pwg_representatives folder. Other/pictures thumbnails are created to the _data hierarchy, would it be possible for the plugin to use that same hierarchy?

Thanks for the great plugin anyway!

Looks like little progress on this.

I think lots of users with read only access to the video folder are not able to generate thumbnails/posters.

Will be good to have an option to allow to save thumbnails/posters for videos locally.

Same here WRT read only access to pictures. I tried generating the files with the same name and putting them in 'pwg_representative' sub directory, then using the standard Piwigo sync to add them. Also tried JPG and PNG extensions.
