Photos can be displayed as they appear on the web interface by selecting the Manual sort option in the Settings page. In the coming version 3.2 presently in beta phase, the manual sort order will be obtained by selecting the "Default" sort option.

Today, there is no option in the iOS app for sorting photos manually.
@plegall , is there an API method allowing to activate the manual sort of an album and sort photos manually?
