PhilDevs: Online Portal for GitHub Developers in the Philippines 🇵🇭

PhilDevs is an online portal that allows you to search for GitHub developers who are based in the Philippines. With a user-friendly interface and a plethora of filters to choose from, PhilDevs is the ideal place for finding like-minded developers for your next project or collaboration.

  • Search GitHub Developers: Search for developers by their GitHub username or other criteria.
  • Filter by Skills: Filter the developers based on the programming languages and technologies they are skilled in.
  • Location-Based Filtering: Find developers near you or in specific cities/regions in the Philippines.
  • Profiles and Repositories: View profiles and repositories of the developers.
  • Responsive Design: The website is fully responsive and optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.

How To Use 🛠️

  1. Visit the PhilDevs website.
  2. Use the search bar to search for developers by GitHub username or other criteria.
  3. Use the filters to narrow down your search based on skills, location, etc.
  4. Click on a developer’s name to view their profile and repositories.
  5. Start collaborating!

Getting Started for Developers 💻

To set up the project on your local machine, follow these steps:

Prerequisites

  • Node.js
  • npm

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/your_username_/PhilDevs.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory
    cd PhilDevs
  3. Install NPM packages
    npm install
  4. Run the development server
    npm run dev

The application will start running at http://localhost:5173.
