Aborting 'make manifest' can leave you with a broken MANIFEST [cpan #3109] #14007
Comments
From @jkeenan[Since ExtUtils-Manifest is now primarily maintained by Perl 5 Porters, I am moving this ticket here from https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=3109. -- jkeenan] ##### Stopping 'make manifest' can leave you with a partially written MANIFEST file. Fortunately, you can restore from MANIFEST.bak. What should be done is a MANIFEST.new written and then the old MANIFEST copied to MANIFEST.bak and then MANIFEST.new renamed MANIFEST. [Do we still want to make this change? Thank you very much. |
