Basic Docker-compose deployment fails - Can not launch /docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/pg-tde-create-ext.sh

Hello, on a basic Docker-compose deployment, looks like the bootstrap script to call can not launch the basic pg_tde load operations.

I'm using a very simple docker-compose file attached below:

version: '3.9'

services:
  postgres_tde:
    image: perconalab/pg_tde
    restart: always
    shm_size: 128mb
    environment:
      POSTGRES_USER: redacted
      POSTGRES_PASSWORD: redacted
    ports:
      - 5432:5432

The output is the following:

postgres_tde_1  | /usr/local/bin/docker-entrypoint.sh: sourcing /docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/pg-tde-create-ext.sh
postgres_tde_1  | 2024-05-20 13:58:57.085 GMT [63] FATAL:  role "postgres" does not exist
postgres_tde_1  | psql: error: connection to server on socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432" failed: FATAL:  role "postgres" does not exist

The script it's attempted to launch is this one: /docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/pg-tde-create-ext.sh

Thanks for the report. Can you try the latest image? #198 should fix the issue.
