I used selfrestraint yesterday because I got a big test today. After the test today, I tried to use twitch.tv which I blocked before, but when I press enter,it didn't came up. I then realised that maybe connected to yesterday's first use which I rebooted my computer during started timing. Then I used many ways like deleting the selffrestraint and refreshing the twitch page but it didn't work

What OS are you on? I ask because there's a file you can manually edit to check if selfrestraint is still blocking stuff and fix it, but the file path is different on different OSes.

  1. Open the host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) in your favourite editor.
  2. Check for the line
0.0.0.0 www.youtube.com
  1. Delete it (or comment it with #).
  2. Save the file and exit.
  3. Youtube.com should work normal after that. If not try ipconfig /flushdns in you cmd or try restarting your pc.
