BYOND Version

Version 515.1640

Issue Description

I was trying to emag a borg and it was able to open the lock but it didn't convert them on swiping the emag. I tried several times with the cover open and everything but the borg never converted. If it matters in any way, the cyborg was engineering model.

What did you expect to happen?

I was expecting to convert the borg to an agent. After talking to the Admin I ahelped for, we determined everything should have worked normally.

What happened instead?

I expected the emag to change the cyborg the standard emagged cyborg lawset.

Why is this bad/What are the consequences?

No response

Steps to reproduce the issue.

  1. Buy an emag from the traitor uplink
  2. Use the emag to open the lock on the cyborgs cover
  3. Crowbar open the cover
  4. Emag the cyborg

When did the problem start happening?

Roughly 12:00 am during round id: 40861.

It may have already been emagged. Emagged borgs do not provide any feedback when you try to emag them.

I was told by user: Triage Unit, who i also tried to emag just to test, said that I had successfully emagged them so im not sure if it is a consistent issue. I will try to test further and make sure if I can.

Me and an admin were looking at the borg in question and they told me the borg wasnt emagged at any point. Maybe i just didnt do it right somehow but based on what i saw i had been doing the correct steps to emag a borg so were still not sure what the issue was.
