Designed adding GIFs and images to cards and threads

UX background

For years we and our customers have wanted the ability to include images and GIFs in reflections and thread comments. This issue is to design the first UX and UI to offer these inputs and display these in these contexts.

Open questions

• How might folks add to cards (shortcut, extra actions on the input fields?, etc)
• How might folks add to thread comments (shortcut, extra actions on the input fields?, etc)
• Are visual inputs stand-alone or are they attachments to comments and cards? Ie the card or comment can have text and images
• What controls does Tiptap offer for this?

Design checklist

• Is the end-to-end flow complete?
• Have you considered all possible states and scenarios? (See our UI State Checklist)
• Have you confirmed that the interactive components in your work have all the necessary states designed? (focus, hover, disabled, etc)
• Have you considered all the breakpoints required for a responsive interface? (S, M, L)
