Gradient flicker on closing the active tab #43

When you close the active tab, the box-shadow disappears for a split second, causing the gradient to appear as the background for the tabs. The bug is somehow easier to trigger using CTRL+W.

Windows 10, LibreWolf 116.0.2-1.

I have provided a video demonstration of the problem and included an archive with minimal code to replicate the bug.
