What is exactly causing the REQ/SEC to increase continuously?

For example, if the REQ/SEC value is around 20 when I first open the dashboard overview, this value starts to increase slowly as I leave the page open, and even in the case of 20, if you wait 15-20 minutes you can reach 300, but in fact there is no such load on the application, what causes this and how can I overcome this problem.
