Otio reader app: Start timecode / playhead timer obscured by track header column #25
Comments
Interesting. Can you attach a sample OTIO file? Perhaps resolve is adding the timeline name somewhere im not checking? Thanks! |
Archive.zip |
Interesting. In the file format there is no name provided:
In your Resolve Timeline, does it have a name? if so, is it the same as the file name? Would the preferred behavior here be to use the file name if the name is empty? |
I don't think it's possible not to have a timeline name in Resolve - I guess they haven't coded that in their otio export. I think the best option is to maybe leave it untitled - indicate that there is an issue with the otio export. |
Ill see who to contact at Blackmagic Design - that smells like a minor oversight on their end. |
Although the untitled timeline was a side issue - main issue is only in thread title and not very clear from the screen grab. Namely that the playhead time code is obscured at the start (should be 01:00:00:00). |
As shown in attached screen grab.
NB 'Untitled Timeline' = Resolve not adding the timeline name to the otio currently.
