I have an HP1102W printer, which is set up on a wireless network, and it won't print jobs that are sent when I select the auto discovered printer in a print dialog. I've attached a log of submitting a print job to the printer (Job 16), hopefully it's useful, I can provide any other information as needed.
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
Turn on HP1102w printer
Open a document in Evince, wait for printer to show up
Print the document to discovered printer "HP_LaserJet_Professional_P_1102w'
Printer network light flashes and printer has to be turned off/on
Expected behaviour:
The discovered printer should print the document using the auto discovered printer
System Information:
Laptop running Fedora 39, Gnome desktop
Additional context:
If I add the same printer in the Gnome printer settings dialog, by searching for it using it's IP address, the default ppd that's selected allows me to print just fine. (In the Gnome print dialogs, I end up with 2 printers, one that works "HP-LaserJet-Professional-P-1102w", and one that doesn't "HP_LaserJet_Professional_P_1102w".) Also, I'm pretty sure this used to work a few releases ago.
