FFmpeg: Use --disable-everything and enable only what's actually needed

Is that a good idea? Mods can use any format supported by ffmpeg, and while the more esoteric stuff won't likely ever be used, getting an actual list of what may be needed will be nearly impossible, especially as a mod can pop up at any time using any format.

hey are you guys interested in supporting Apple Silicon? I know Apple is working on ffmpeg support for Apple Silicon Macs. (I’m Jyby on the forum btw)

I’m planning to get an Apple Silicon Mac and will let you know what I see trying to compile for it.

@kcat that's a good point! The rationale behind the issue is avoiding it picking up whatever is available on library path without being asked to while building.
