It is a great point, and it's on our TODO list. It's likely that there will be a separate app for this purpose. (new communities are managed a bit differently than personal profiles - a stable community member list should probably not belong to a specific user, but to an organization with a separate solid pod)

Another option we're considering is that you'll be able to create new communities, but they'll have to have their own website. E.g. sleepy.bike will be a community for cyclists, without an option to add new communities. Showing other communities could be optional...

Also curious about all the other ideas ❤️
