Description
Very good kit, thanks.
1:
For the present backplate layout, there is overly generous space left at the top of the case compared to the overly difficult cramped area at the bottom that must accommodate the heavy gauge cables...
See my assembly attempt!
To make the cabling easier, can the OpenEVSE module and relay both be moved equally towards the top of the base plate to give more room for cabling in the lower 1/3rd of the case?
2:
I placed the temperature sensor onto the relay to give early warning of any problems with a (hot) resistive connection on the high current side. This is close to exposed mains terminals: Hence the use of insulation tape around the terminals to protect for if the sensor were to become detached/loose.
Are shrouds available for the mains terminals?
Thanks,
Martin
