Open Shell on Win 11, Win 11 start - Search functions no longer work

Hello All, I have been migrating a few of my PC's over to Win 11, since Dec. (2 laptops & one desktop my build)
Note: I am running the Win 11 on slightly older hardware pre TPM & MBR formatting, no problems there, working solid, never believe MS BS. It was easy to do, but then I've been using MS products going back to DOS 2.1, yes I am old.
I did install Open Shell on my desktop and installation worked ok, the Open Shell runs fine, BUT now the Windows 11, Start
" Type here to search" is totally dead, can not type anything on the search line, also the Magnifying glass search does not allow any entries ether. I did uninstall the Open Shell, to try and get the Windows search to function, but no dice. I had to reinstall open shell just so I can do a search now. I am willing to give up the Open Shell if I can get the Win 11 Start - search , and the magnifying glass search to function again.
After using windows 11 for several months now, I have adapted to the Win 11 standard layout and don't need to go back to the Win 7 style any more. Any help would be appreciated
