Upload a file from the PC

Hello team,

We make Excel add-ins by JavaScript API.

We would like to build a feature which enables users to upload their (Excel or word or PDF) files from their PC to the add-in: Users click on a button "upload" in the add-in, a window popups where users can navigate the file system of their PC, then users choose the file, then the file is uploaded to their account of the add-in.

Is there any API to do so?
