Hello, I'm using blender2ogre 0.8.3 and Blender 3.6.12, I have some mesh that I selected and I want to export those mesh only so I use the "Export Selected Only" option, however it doesn't seem to work properly when those mesh have children.

Here is what I get:
2024-08-05 10_09_00-Window

However if they have no parent:
2024-08-05 10_11_11-Window
2024-08-05 10_11_21-Window
2024-08-05 10_12_37-Window

I don't know if it is intented or not.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yeah, there are probably problems there.

The code that deals with the "selected only" option is somewhat pathologic.

The logic there always confused me.

Have you tried if it also does it to you? Is there a version where this is fixed?

I have some files with lots of meshes and when I want to export only one, it exports every other mesh also 😭 so it takes a lot of time for only one mesh.

Yes, it did the same for me and that is the latest version.

Will have to check out what is wrong...

You can try as a workaround for now to set the option to not overwrite a mesh that exists....
