ratiocolor plugin broken for v5.x (blue color only)

Hi, I've been using the ratiocolor plugin (offered conveniently by my seedbox provider) for the longest time. Unfortunately, it is no longer working correctly now, after having upgraded to rutorrent v5.x. I assume something on rutorrent has changed, breaking compatibility for the time being. Instead of a rainbow of colors, it now only has blue.

I have reported the issue here to the creator of the plugin here - Gyran/rutorrent-ratiocolor#9 - but am not expecting a swift response, as the plugin has not been updated in many years.

Is there anything else I can do on my end?
( Quietly hoping for a "simply change this line of code to ..."-type of fix :D )
