Setting to invert all colours in xDrip+

I was wondering how feasible it would be to have an option to invert all the colours in xDrip+? I use e-ink phones (currently a Hisense A9) and more and more people are doing the same. I have played extensively with the colour options in xDrip+, but there are chunks of the home screen that simply cannot be made pale/white and in the process you end up with a situation where your bg reading cannot be read.

Hi. Yes, sorry, that was massively unclear. I meant - more people are using e-ink smartphones now.

Is there something special about that particular phone that requires flipping the colors?
Or, is this just a personal preference?

On e-ink phones - apps that are predominantly black are harder to read and navigate. From an accesibility point of view, being able to view the xDrip+ app in a predominantly white screen instead of black, will make it a lot easier to use on e-ink devices, which are becoming more popular, for a range of reasons, including by those that are trying to avoid having bright screens displaying in their faces. E-ink screens are also super visible in ambient lighting without a backlight.

If you play with the colour settings in the xDrip+ app you can make most of the homepage white, but not a big chunk near the top of the screen, where the top-half of the BG reading sits. Ideally I'd like to be the whole UI white instead of black.

I'll try and get some screenshots and some photos of my e-ink screen uploaded soon.

Nothing special about my e-ink phone. I have used xDrip+ on 3 e-ink devices and they all work the same in this regard.

I have had issues for years when there is red text against a black background. This is particularly troubling at times of low blood sugar and or hypo warnings. I highlighted this as an issue some time ago and @Navid200 suggesting utilising the predicted low blood sugar waning alarm. This has been a really big help in avoiding the obvious problems but I still sometimes cannot read the text.

I think if we had an option to switch a predominantly white/pale UI instead of a predominantly black UI, a lot of people would find the app easier to read and navigate from an accessibilty point of view.

And it should be fixed by adding the ability to adjust the colors for the forecasted low text.

Please lets not mix up these two different requests. Red on black definitely does not create enough contrast. It will be fixed.

I will see how practical it is to change the color of the block at the top after you post screenshots.

I think it would be best if the entire UI could display white/pale instead of black, but I welcome the option of just the homepage being fixed. Thanks for considering this suggestion.

So this first image is the home screen when you try to set the background to white. You get this large chunk that stays dark. I've not been able to find a control for that.

This is how xDrip+ looks on an e-ink phone. Dark UIs somehow just don't look as clear. (No backlight on at all.)

Why are there no colors in the second screenshot? It looks like you have forced your phone to become black and white there. Why?
That would make it look unclear.

It's a monochrome display! It doesn't display colour! As with e-readers, most e-ink phones are monochrome.

Throwing away colors, you will need more contrast to get the same level of clarity.
Flipping the colors is not going to improve contrast. You will still have the same problem I believe.
