Not sure if this has already been suggested but I think it would be nice to have an option to show like & reply counts to posts on the timelines, or at least show that information when a post is expanded

I understand the downsides of showing those kind of statistics (which is why it would be probably best as an optional, disabled by default setting) but for using smaller instances it can help to see what posts have been interacted with, or seeing if a post has been replied to without having to open it

+1 on this. As a suggestion (if we want levels to how many stats are displayed) - Tusky displays a 1+ next to toots that have 1 or more replies. That could be a good first level of stats possibly?

Then if people opt in to all the stats, they can see everything? WDYT?

Sengi already solve this with a label "replies" on the post. 🙂

About stats, we already have #453 about it and I guess we can solve this the same way.
