How Does the NEAR Intents Protocol Work?
Defuse is not only a cross chain DEX built on NEAR, it's also a great showcase of how to use intents when building on NEAR. As with chain signatures, intents now give developers a new paradigm for building on NEAR. If you're interested going deeper into how intents work, take a browse through the documentation.

New NEPs
There are two interesting NEAR Enhancement Proposals in the works:

• NEP-568, Resharding V3: This NEP proposes a new resharding implementation to increase chain capacity and lay the groundwork for dynamic resharding.
• NEP-582, Sign and Return Signature: This proposal suggests a new wallet method to get immediate signatures giving developers more control over the transaction lifecycle to improve UX.

The Nuffhole
Nuffle and Wormhole are now connected. This allows users on NEAR (and other chains) to connect to Eigenlayer to enable native token staking and restaking without having to bridge and retaining full control of their assets.

For anyone using the CoinGeko API, there has been a changes to the naming of assets. Please refer to this Telegram post for more details.

Keypom Acquisition
Keypom has been acquired by Infinex. This move looks to accelerate the development of Infiex's use of NEAR's chain signatures to support more chains.

Build Multichain Transactions in Contracts
The first release of omni-transaction-rs is out! This library is used to build transactions for different chains inside of a NEAR smart contract to enable you to control accounts on other chains via smart contract logic. This allows for many use cases such as cross-chain swaps without bridging and AccountFi.

GetBlock Infrastructure Grants
NEAR has partnered with GetBlock to provide infrastructure support to early-stage startups building on top of NEAR. Selected startups will receive a grant for RPC requests, technical support, co-marketing opportunities and more. Learn more here.

Intear has launched a new WebSocket API to make it easier to listen for real-time events on NEAR. Check out the long list of events you can listen for here.
