+Jaden is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology program at Florida International University under the co-mentorship of Drs. Raul Gonzalez and Angela Laird. He completed a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Kansas in 2020, an MS in Clinical Child and School Psychology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2022, and an MS in Psychology at Florida International University in 2024 en route to his PhD. Jaden's research interests focus on neurodevelopmental disabilities (i.e., autism, ADHD, intellectual disability) from infancy to early adulthood. Jaden has contributed to research projects that have examined underlying behavioral, neural, and physiological correlates of these disabilities in infancy and adolescence. He has also contributed to research projects examining best practices for conducting psychosocial research with this population in adulthood, as well as planning for and outcomes of the transition from adolescence to adulthood for young adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

+Alisha is a graduate student in the Department of Psychology at Florida International University (FIU), specializing in Cognitive Neuroscience under the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Sutherland and Dr. Angela Laird. She graduated with her B.A. in Psychology, summa cum laude, from Florida International University (Miami, FL) in 2024, after earning her A.A. in Psychology, with high honors, from Broward College (Pembroke Pines, FL) in 2022. Alisha’s research specializes in substance use. Specifically, her thesis-in-progress examines the synergistic effects of HIV infection and cannabis use on striatal resting-state functional connectivity.

+Krystyna Keller is a graduate student in the Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology program at Florida International University. She graduated with her B.A. in Psychology and English from Lafayette College in 2021. Krystyna’s research interests include exploring the underlying mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders, both behaviorally and neurologically. She is particularly interested in how behaviors manifest throughout development and contributing familial factors. She hopes to pursue neuropsychology and continue to examine how psychology, neuroscience, development, and family factors intersect and contribute to child psychopathology. Her current research focuses on heterogeneity and resting state functional connectivity trajectories in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
