8k 360 videos freeze

Steps to Reproduce

1. Type 8k 360 on YouTube (example: https://youtu.be/L_tqK4eqelA)
2. Try playing the video (make sure to set it to 8k in the quality settings)
3. It's going to freeze or get stuck. The audio might continue playing.

Current Behavior

8k 360 videos freeze, unable to play, audio might play.

Expected Behavior

8k 360 videos play normally

Possible Solution

Context

Trying in Oculus Browser: it doesn't even offer an option for 8k, 4k is the limit.
YouTube VR: you can choose "Highest" quality, but does it play in 8k?
Quest 2 should be capable of playing 8K I think. For example Skybox VR are working on implementing it.

I had the same issue! I read that oculus browser could play 8k before. I tried today, only 4k with desktop mode.

my guess is a software glitch, either Oculus or Firefox. I saw older posts stating they were able to play 8k on both browsers. Hopefully, someone fixes it soon.
