Just thought I would let people here know that I am working on a WebView2 based browser as a platform for testing out new security technologies, in particular schemes being proposed to standards organizations (IETF/W3C/OASIS/etc.).
The goal here is not so much to build a browser for daily use as to test/showcase new protocol proposals. I have several interested parties including some people whose names are well known in the security/privacy/cryptography sphere.

It is clear that there are many people interested in doing the same sort of work and there is the opportunity to share the work here by setting up some sort of WebView2 developer community. Does such a community exist already? If not, where would be a good place to start one?
At this point, I am looking to work out how to hook the browser for various purposes. It seems that WebView2 is only exposing some of the hooks needed.
Congratulations on the Microsoft team for making this available. Lets use this opportunity to take back the Web for the people.
