Need help comparing Intune group assignments

Hi there,

I’m trying to troubleshoot a difference between two Azure AD groups in Intune — WIN-AP-CAS-WSI and WIN-AP-CAS-IOT.
Both are meant to map to the same AutoPilot enrolment profile and an assortment of Apps and Config and baselines etc etc, but only the devices in WSI go through auto enrolment correctly. They're dynamic groups with Group Tags applied in the AutoPilot list for correct assignment.

I came across this tool and was hoping it could help me compare the two groups’ assignments or at least export all Intune assignments so I can work backwards and see where WSI is assigned that IOT isn’t.

Is that possible using this tool? I’ve had a play but I’m a bit lost on how to approach it. Any guidance or example commands would be really appreciated!

Sorry for delayed reply.

There is not direct group comparison tool, however you could use the Intune Assignment tool (View -> Intune Tools).

• Do a full export of all policies, including assignments
• Open Intune Assignments tool
• Click ... to browse to the export folerd
• Click Get Assignments to list all defined assignments
• Use Filter textbox to filer based on group name or export to csv and filter in Excel.,
