Running the Lidar Turorial

In the last tutorial we made a tutorial called "lidar_tutorial". Let's run it:

./lidar_tutorial                (C++)(C)
python lidar_tutorial.py        (Python)

You will see something similar to:

When you are done, press Ctrl-C to terminate both the lidar tutorial.

Note: ERROR

  • ./lidar_tutorial: error while loading shared libraries: libydlidar_sdk.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory if the above error occurs, the operation is as follows:
cat /etc/ld.so.conf
        include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf
## ydlidar_sdk library path added to ld.so.conf.
echo "/usr/local/lib" >> /etc/ld.so.conf
sudo ldconfig

OR

## ydlidar_sdk library path added to LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
