Unicode/Emoji style (?) characters get the empty box treatment

Describe the bug

It appears that emoji style content gets boxed out. I assume this is due to something like unicode and not whatever translation is breaking the castrum marinum stuff from #95

Expected behaviour
I would expect display of content to be equivalent to the in game display.

Steps to reproduce
wait in a populated area during peak usage time, i'm certain someone will send a message that triggers this.

It also (appears as if it) affects tags So you should be able to generate this behavior by sending the command in any channel

That's linked to #9 I still need to figure out how I can get those symbols and how I can make my own font with them.
