When Vanilla does a version bump, they do so via shipping a newly compiled .exe. This automatically reverts the 4gb patch, which many players use, and most player should use.
Describe the solution you'd like
Whenever MSU detects a Vanilla version bump for the first time, it displays an info pop-up for the player, suggesting that they should re-apply the 4gb patch, if they use one.
Something like this
"Your game was recently updated. Please ensure the 4GB patch has been reapplied."
This pop-up should probably be disablable in the options menue
Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative to a pop-up could be that MSU replaces the first tip-of-the-day that is shown to the player after updating. This is much less intrusive
