`pr` test suite not successful with Gnu on Compy

The baroclinic_channel/10km/default test fails with:

CRITICAL ERROR: block_decomp_all_edges_in_block: Listed fewer edges than expected.

Then, the baroclinic_channel/10km/threads_test hangs until the job times out.
