adjust node spacing based on number of nodes #34

the more nodes in a graph, the closer together they are rendered. adjusting the spacing dynamically will make the graph more legible.

here is an example. ideally links would be short enough so labels on nodes are legible. otherwise nodes are only identifiable by selecting one at a time or zooming which only shows 1 or 2 at a time with current link lengths.
