In two words: FOSS and SEARCHABLE.

I've been searching for a good launcher to replace native one (stock system launcher) which was stable, but very limited in customization and features.

So, after testing a dozen, I've come up with 3 launchers

• Neo launcher
• Nova launcher

Let's analyze one by one

Neo Launcher

• FOSS
• Stable (even with a lot of icons).
• Quite frequently updated.
• Rich quick menu on homepage.
• You can highly customize as you like home screen.
• AUTO categorization for apps (when you create tabs).

Nova launcher

• NOT FOSS.
• Free mostly (although the paid version in just 3.99€).
• Stable.
• High-customizable.
• Fast start-up.

kvaesitso

• FOSS.
• search-focused.
• stable.
• frequently updated.

Missing-malfunctioning features

• No option to customize home-screen (as in other launchers).
• No folder/tab in drawer (replaced by hashtag).
• No auto-categorization for app.
• No RECENT section in drawer (for quick opening/sudden crash of app).
• No search customization for search app bar (when opening drawer): you can't add icon.
