wl-clip-persist makes wezterm crash on text selection

I have opened an issue on the wezterm repo but I think it might need to be posted here too(?). Anyways, my problem is that if I am using wl-clip-persist on my system, then try to select text on wezterm, wezterm crashes. I have left the output of wezterm on the wezterm issue, not sure how to get any logs related to wl-clip-persist.

I am on EndevourOS using Hyprland. Not sure if it matters but I also use Clipse as my clipboard history manager.
