I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to integrate this plugin since our project does not use .kts, and instead uses build.grade. Is there an example to reference, or can an example be added, of how to use this with build.gradle?

Hi,
we only use the kotlin dsl and have no groovy experience, but maybe another user could chime in here and help you out :)

Happy to integrate groovy examples via MR 👍

EDIT: Maybe you can mix groovy and kotlin with https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/plugins.html#sec:script_plugins ?
