Currently, all trains burn fuel at the same rate as a vanilla Furnace or Blaze Burner, regardless of their composition.
However, that rate may be too slow for large trains, which can spend fuel at a rate which make their engines seem more efficient than physically possible.
To remedy this, I would like a new config option which multiplies the speed at which trains burn fuel by an integer, which can be changed by the mod pack author to balance fuel consumption for trains.
For example, a value of 4 makes all trains burn solid fuels 4x faster than in the base Create mod (or compared to vanilla Furnaces or Blaze Burners).
Fluid fuel consumption rates are already editable through data packs defining custom fluid fuel types.
