Generated site prevents new-tab page opening for "command+click" on firefox

Describe the bug
When clicking a link with "command" key pressed the link opens in the same tab Macos Firefox and Safari

Expected behaviour
WHen I click a internal vault link with "command" key pressed, the page opens in a new tab.

Operating System
Macos Ventura 13.5.2

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Export HTML
2. Open a file
3. "command+click" internal vault link
4. opens in the same tab

Thanks! Is this a standard on MacOS? If links are normally opened in a new tab when clicking with cmd + click then it should work still. For example, on windows if you middle mouse click on any link it will open in a new tab but I did not add this behavior it just naturally does that. If you expect macos to open the link in a new tab when pressing cmd+click and it does not then I am not sure I can do much about that very easily.

Also is this problem reproducible in other browsers (like chrome)?

It behaves the same (buggy) way in Chrome also.

I'll ask sb on windows to check.

I am on windows and it does not work. I'll look into this more later
