Teleportation beacons "there but not there" after upgrade #5

After a recent Factorio upgrade (from 0.16.47 to 0.16.50) any teleportation beacons I had already placed down were "there but not there". They are visibly present but have no functionality. If I place a new one down, the new one will register and work.

A comment on the forums may be helpful:

That probably means the mod has a broken on_configuration_changed handler, and deleted the old register. You'll just have to rebuild all of them. I.e. it happens because an update happend, not particularly because this update happend. And unless the mod is fixed it's going to happen on every update.

Thanks for the feedback!
Strange situation. I'll look into it.
