Hi,

Currently trying out your plugin but have run into a problem with it - so in my head, maintenance mode should be enabled when performing a site upgrade. However, after giving this a try, Umbraco still takes over and redirects me to the authorize upgrade screen. What I'd much prefer is if this only kicked in if I attempt to go to Umbraco and just show the maintenance page if I attempt to get to the website itself.

I have a feeling that this may not be possible when doing this through code, is there any chance you looked in to this and can confirm one way or the other? Or, an update to enable this would be perfect if it is possible.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi

I don't think this is directly do-able within an umbraco plugin, because the upgrade is intercepting all requests - so the code never gets hit :(

Might be possible, if someone wanted to look at how Silent Upgrade works, it might be an intercept you could do.
