How to define custom path for the vscode extension?

Is this possible? I see StyLua has "stylua.styluaPath" that I can set to the path of my StyLua executable, but I can't find an equivalent for luau-lsp. Thanks.

This is currently not possible. Unlike StyLua, the VSCode extension is distributed with the binary packaged within it, and the version of the VSCode extension matches the version of the server.

I use NixOS, so I can't use dynamically linked executables. I have to point to my own binary for everything.

Makes sense, I'd be open to supporting a config option for this, something like luau-lsp.server.path. It would require updating https://github.com/JohnnyMorganz/luau-lsp/blob/main/editors/code/src/extension.ts#L184
